San Diego Legacy Law, PC, a well-established boutique firm with expertise in estate planning, probate, trust administration, conservatorship, guardianship, and litigation, seeks a skilled and dedicated paralegal to join our team. This role is crucial in managing our demanding caseload and upholding our firm’s commitment to providing exceptional legal services across multiple practice areas. The primary purpose of this position is to support our attorneys in all stages of probate, conservatorship, estate planning, and litigation processes. This includes preparing documentation, managing client communications, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of all case details. Responsibilities:• Case Management: Maintain organized files and manage case progress, including tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance with court requirements.• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and court petitions.• Research: Conduct legal research related to cases and stay updated on changes in relevant laws.• Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison between the attorney and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.• Billing: Accurately track and record billable hours with a minimum expectation of 6 hours per day. Qualifications:• Experience: Proven experience as a paralegal in probate, conservatorship, and estate planning.• Knowledge: Deep understanding of California probate and estate planning laws.• Skills: Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills.• Education: Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training preferred.
