Hotel Director Of Housekeeping

You MUST have housekeeping management experience to be considered for this position. No exceptions. We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. If you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience, we highly encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: • Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily• Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies• Handle the hiring and training of housekeeping staff so that they can achieve and exceed our standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs• Make sure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and schedule repairs as needed Qualifications: • A High school diploma or GED is required• Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service• At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment• At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department Compensation: $17 - $22 hourly About Company: The Lodge on Lake Oconee is a small, 80-room lakefront boutique hotel located in Eatonton, GA. Our hotel is looking for outgoing, motivated individuals dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for all of our guests. This is a unique opportunity to help build a hotel brand as the hotel is about to embark upon extensive renovations throughout the property.
