This is a full-time, hourly position. We provide a competitive benefit package including: Pay Rate of $18 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) + Company Match Job Description: The position involves heavy labor on various tasks associated with environmental construction activities including, but not limited to: excavations, landfill and waste-cell construction, storm-water repairs and construction, demolition, road rehabilitation, clearing and grubbing, and other restoration services. Job responsibilities may include installation and maintenance of silt fencing, excavation using a variety of hand tools, operation and maintenance of pumps and pressure washer, and overseeing delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials. Occasional use of respirators, protective suits, and other personal protective equipment may be required. Must be willing to travel at least 75% of the time. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent oral communication skills The ability to work well with staff and subcontractors Experience operating and maintaining small heavy equipment is a plus (i.e., mini-excavator) Physical Requirements: Work is outdoors and may be performed under extreme weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures. Tasks involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds. Employment is dependent upon passing drug and alcohol screening and physical examination by a medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
