Position Summary Vector Media is looking for a uniquely talented AR Specialist to join our Accounting Department. This position gives candidates the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic finance team while enhancing procedures in accounts receivable and will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting. This role will be involved in various stages of the sales process, from conducting credit reference checks to collecting on overdue invoices. The responsibilities also include reviewing billing with sales teams to ensure we can collect effectively, apply payments accurately and timely, and assist management with forecasting incoming cash payments. We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills, confident in the ability to contact outside parties regularly, and be professionally assertive. Pay Range Details: $26.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour. The pay range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the pay offered. What You’ll Bring: 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience BA in Accounting, preferred Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable accounting software, preferred Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and other Office programs Solid organizational and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills What You’ll Do: Responsible for day-to-day collections processes, such as accounts receivable billing review, collections, payment application, credit checks, and recording journals as needed Independently working with our sales teams to review aging reports and provide feedback for collections Reconciling payments with customer statements Assist department managers with month-end close for receivables, as well as annual audit procedures Ad-hoc projects Vector Media is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, age, national origin, ethnic background, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
