Integrated Medical Professionals is interviewing for Medical Assistant to work full time in our office located at 1181 Old Country Road, Suite 8, Plainview NY 11803. The position offers hours Monday through Friday. No Weekends, No Evenings, No holidays!The position requires Bilingual-Spanish speaking candidate. Intergrated Medical Professionals is the largest multi-specialty urology focused practice in the country. Duties: Perform various administrative and clinical duties under the direction of their assigned direct supervisor.Performs the following clinical duties as necessary:Measures and records vital signsRecords patient interview, history, and chief complaintPrepares patients for examinations and performs routing screening testsAssists physicians with examsPhlebotomy and collection of other lab specimensPerforms basic lab testAssist in maintaining patient logs for the following:Lab requests, CT scans and other treatment orders for the patientsPrescription ledger when neededMaintaining the back office with good flowKeeping rooms fullAssist with room turnoverAccurate and complete room set-up for physicianEnsures that all patients medication is updated before physician visit.Set-up for in office Surgical proceduresAssist with other administrative projects and tasks as needed. Requirements: Certifications, Licensures or Registry Requirements Medical Assistant Certification or Registration Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must be fluent in Spanish Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR, Practice Management Solutions. Communication skills and customer service oriented. Experience Requirement-6 months experience working within a physician’s office desired.
