You will serve our guests at the restaurant by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served on time, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Responsibilities: • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests• Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed• Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes Qualifications: • Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired• Must have or be able to obtain an ABC License Compensation: $8 hourly About Company: Knoxville's Premier Hotel.
