Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.The Google Pixel Buds team, focuses on designing and delivering the world's most innovative and helpful earbuds. The team works on shaping the future of audio wearables devices and services through some of the most advanced designs and technologies in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together Google's AI, software, and hardware to build top-of-market earbuds and create experiences for users.As a Product Manager for the Pixel buds, you will be responsible for leading the teams in the definition, development, and execution against core audio, system capabilities, and New Technologies Initiatives (NTI). This will include key areas of the Pixel Buds experience including AI/ML driven computational audio, device connectivity, and collaborating across the company to deliver Google services including Gemini.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role. 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products Experience developing Software, such as Apps or System Software for Consumer Electronics products. Preferred qualifications: Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, advocating initiatives, and driving product decisions. Experience with ML and AI capabilities. Experience with voice assistants or audio products. Experience with device architecture, sensors, components, system software, silicon, and other foundational blocks of the stack. Excellent user experience skills, with experience in inventing innovative and user-friendly products. Responsibilities Work across research, hardware, and software teams by synthesizing a variety of insights through discovery while driving decision making on product trade offs informed by key user journeys, technical capabilities (e.g., AI, sensors etc..), and product strategy. Manage software and roadmap from concept, definition, development, and post launch improvements, and collaborating with engineering and support teams across Pixel and Google.
