Our environmental consultants help government and commercial clients assess performance, manage risk, implement sustainable remedies, and resolve uncertainty. We are seeking an Environmental QA/QC Manager to support our U.S. EPA Response Engineering and Analytical Contract (REAC) and EPA Emergency Response Team (ERT). These teams bring next-level 24/7/365 scientific, engineering and logistical support and response to national and international incidents involving releases of oil and hazardous materials and at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. The Environmental QA/QC Manager's primary role is to ensure that required management and technical practices are utilized to assure that proper environmental information is provided to support EPA emergency response decisions. Responsibilities Maintain and implement the REAC Program Quality System Lead the preparation and review of Uniform Federal Policy Quality Assurance Project Plans (UFP-QAPPs) for all projects Perform final review of all project deliverables, data packages, work plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Provide laboratory oversight for National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) accreditation, including: review of PT sample results, demonstrations of capability (DOCs), and review of laboratory methods and procedures Oversee all data management and validation per the EPA Guidance on Environmental Data Verification and Validation Maintain and oversee the laboratory Performance Evaluation (PE) sample program Requirements Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in QA/QC environments Understanding of U.S. EPA data validation guidelines and environmental analytical methods Ability to follow SOPs and perform mathematical calculations Possess a current Medical Certification or be able to receive one Authorized to work in U.S. , with ability to obtain and maintain state and federal security clearances Benefits TechLaw Consultants offers an inclusive work environment with Flexible Time Off (FTO), medical, dental and life insurance, a matching 401(k) plan, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and other benefits.TechLaw Consultants is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce and we are an EEO/AAP employer.
