What You'll DoWe're looking for a Senior Client Advisor to join our Institutional Sales team at Principal Asset Management where you will play a pivotal role in fostering inclusive partnerships and drive sustainable growth.Reporting to Amanda Wilson, Managing Director - Institutional Sales and Relationship Management, the Senior Client Advisor will: * Engage Proactively: Forge meaningful relationships with large institutional asset owners, including public and corporate plans, endowments, foundations and health systems. You'll champion our wide range of traditional and alternative investment products and solutions, adeptly addressing clients' investment challenges to drive business growth. * Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to cultivate and fortify relationships with both prospective and existing clients. * Product Innovation: Contribute to the evolution of our product offerings by actively participating in their development and design, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends * Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed goals for growth in assets under management and corresponding revenues, expanding current client relationships and new clients obtainedOperating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Check us out at www.principalam.com!Who You Are * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus at least ten years related experience in the institutional asset management industry * FINRA 7 and 63 * Demonstrated expertise and deep understanding of the institutional asset management landscapeSkills That Will Help You Stand Out * Public and private markets experience * Institutional business development track record * CFA and/or MBA * NFA licensing 3 or 3 & 30 may be required * Excellent oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills and presentation ability * Strong organization and aim to execute effectively on a large opportunity set and in-depth product knowledge * Ability to find opportunities and view clients' situations analytically and holistically * Proven ability to execute a well-developed business plan, to influence to achieve results, close the sales in high-pressure final presentations and a strong market-driven, client-oriented focusExtensive travel required.This position may be subject to SEC restrictions on personal political contributions.Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$174000 - $277000 / year Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
