Rivel is currently seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our Governance and Sustainability team. The position requires someone with at least 2 years of work experience in sustainability/ESG or corporate governance, ideally with past experience working in-house, in a consulting role, or at an investment firm. This full-time role will come into the office if local to Westport, CT (with flexibility to work from home), otherwise remote. The range of base compensation for this position is a minimum of $68,000 to a maximum of $80,000. Compensation for any employee in this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions, and/or experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist consultants in advising clients on sustainability, corporate governance, and ESG strategy, programs, disclosures, and engagements. Support the development of client presentations and reports. Research and analyze governance and ESG topics, developments, policies, and best practices. Work in a collaborative and innovative environment. We want to hear your ideas! REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree. 2-3 years of work experience in sustainability/ESG or corporate governance. Past experience working in-house, in a consulting role, or at an investment firm, a plus. Knowledge and understanding of ESG reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations, such as: ISSB/SASB, TCFD, UNSDGs, GRI, CSRD, SEC climate rules, etc. Experience creating, assisting with the creation of, or reviewing ESG disclosures (ESG/Sustainability Reports). Experience with or knowledge of ESG ratings agencies and surveys: CDP, ISS, MSCI, S&P CSA, Sustainalytics, etc. Ability to understand and articulate opportunities to improve ESG strategies, disclosures, and performance. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to handle changing priorities and work in a low-ego environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
