Senior Political-Military Analyst Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education--- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort.--- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, and 10 or more years of qualifying experience can be substituted for a master's degree and five years' experienceExperience--- Minimum of five years of practical experience in the pertinent areas--- Experience as a senior-level professional on a multi-disciplinary teamThe purpose of this contract is to support to U.SCentral Command (USCENTCOM), Strategy, Plans and Policy Directorate (CCJ5), Security Cooperation (SC) Operations Division and SC Plans and Programs Division to manage, plan, develop, coordinate, maintain and assess the variety of programs and activitiesJob Objective The Senior Pol-Mil Analyst provides regional / country pol-mil analysis subject matter expertise to plan and execute regional theater SC activities by; conducting regional pol- mil analysis, advising the Commander and staff on pol-mil affairs, integrating national and strategic guidance, coordinating applicable country / region SC activities with other DoD and/or DoS, and providing in-country / on-site visit and engagement support directly to CENTCOM senior staff (Directorate, Component, and Command Group leadership)Responsibilities--- Provide country-specific Pol-Mil subject matter expertise directly to the commander and immediate staff during theater travel and key leader engagements.--- Assist in the development of significant security cooperation initiatives (SSCI) for the assigned country / region that support the theater campaign plan (TCP).--- Provide Theater Security Cooperatoin and Pol-Mil country / region specific subject matter expertise to the command and staffAlso provide same across the interagency.--- Assist the country security cooperation office (SCO) develop their country specific security cooperation plan and integrate that plan into the TCP.--- Research and produce written Pol-Mil products that support the COCOM commander's decision cycle and inform the broader staff on country/region specific issues.--- Plan, lead/facilitate a country specific bilateral action officer working group designed to build a fully coordinated training and engagement plan with the partner nationGain commitment on the part of component commands and support agencies in the execution of said planMinimum Job Requirements/Technical Requirements--- Minimum of five years of practical experience in the pertinent area.--- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD.--- Experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.--- Expert knowledge of all requirements identified in the responsibilities sectionDesired Experience--- Basic level or Intermediate level Certification in Security Cooperation Planning, Oversight, and Execution Management area of concentrationEducation & Certification--- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort.--- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, and 10 or more years of qualifying experience can be substituted for a Master's degree and five years' experienceSecurity Clearance Top Secret clearance is required Work Location MacDill AFB, FL - CENTCOM About Lukos : Lukos is a small business headquartered in Tampa, FloridaWe deliver professional services to the Department of DefenseLukos has been one of the most successful and most diversified support companies for various military combatant commands for more than the last decadeSince our founding, we have grown to support all military services and several federal civilian agenciesLukos is operating coast-to-coast and overseas and continues to grow into new marketsAbout Our Name: Lukos is ancient Greek for "wolf"The characteristics of the wolf match our approach to national securityThe wolf is known for cunning, aggression, patience, and teamworkAn individual wolf is a smart, strong, resilient animal, but the true strength of wolves is their ability to work together as a wolfpackKipling said it best in The Law of the Jungle"For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack."
