Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, a science background, and expertise in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. This role requires superior research abilities, project management proficiency, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently.Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is required.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.J.D. degree.Admission to the DC Bar.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.Education and Certifications:J.D. degree.Admission to the DC Bar.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.Skills:Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Superior communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Project management proficiency.Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Immediately transferable skills and strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
