Job Summary: If you’re a Licensed Physical Therapist interested in joining a team of compassionate healthcare professionals, you might be a great fit for our team. Under direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, administers specific physical therapy treatments as assigned and designated by the physical therapist through the use of various exercise techniques and therapeutic procedures. This position requires an Associate's degree in physical therapy and current state licensure. If this sounds like a great opportunity, apply now! Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: • Administers treatment to restore function, mobility and strength, relieve pain, and prevent disability through the use of various exercise techniques, appropriate modalities, simple extremity mobilization, muscle re-education, gait training, and other related treatment techniques.• Provides patients with instruction in home exercise programs and pain relief techniques.• Maintains appropriate medical records to include progress notes.• Consult with the physical therapist and/or referring physician as indicated regarding patient achievement of goals.• Performs the responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Assistant to ensure safe, progressive, efficient, and effective patient care.• Performs other related duties as directed. Qualifications:• Associate's degree in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association is required.• License, Certification, Registration Physical Therapy Assistant License (Kentucky)• Spanish speaking is a plus.
