An ADP Client, HYROX is actively seeking an Accountantto join their team in downtown Chicago, IL. AboutHYROX: Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX is a new globalfitness race designed for any and every fitness enthusiast. The one-day eventstake place in large arenas and are comprised of 8 x 1km runs and 8 functionalfitness stations. Each competitor has his/her own personal completion time tocompare to everyone else around the world and improve upon in subsequent eventssimilar to a runner in a marathon. HYROX is an affiliate of Upsolut Sports Americawhish is also headquartered in Germany. About the Role : HYROX is looking for an Accountantto join their fast-growing team in their Chicago office. This individual willbe reporting to the senior leadership team of Upsolut Sports. The accountant willbe responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of financialprocesses of the Upsolut Sports US business with strong direction coming fromGlobal Controller on reports and new processes. Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Perform AP & AR via QuickBooks Online Manage financial reports, records, and accounts Maintain the GL and updating accounting records and files Analyze budgets and create expense reports Approve and correct employee expense records Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns across the US Post transactions and categorize records in the GL (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses) Reconcile bank statements and conduct month-end and year-end closures Prepare documents for audits Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations Report to the CFO and work to improve financial processes IdealCandidate: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field of study strongly preferred 3+ years of experience in finance and bookkeeping strongly preferred Previous experience with QuickBooks online strongly preferred Previous experience with payroll processing through ADP strongly preferred Proficient with Microsoft Excel strongly preferred Experience in the events industry preferred but not required Experience working for a small team preferred but not required Experience working with international teams preferred but not required Must be legally authorized to work in the US Must be able to work out of the HYROX Chicago office AdditionalImportant Information & Offerings: M-F, 9AM - 5PM in-office schedule w/ limited hybrid flexibility $68,000 - $75,000 annual salary Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance 401(k) plan w/ employer match Office is located in a great central location in downtown Chicago Frequent company culture events and outings Snack and beverages provided in-office All employees are granted access to all of HYROX's fitness events PDN-9bd56321-519b-4f4f-a7ad-dbb42151bc99
