Outside Sales Professional / Sales Representative for Wholesale Flooring Company We are searching for a highly self-motivated, ambitious outside sales professional to join our team and expand our territory and client base. Individual needs to be able to network and cold call and visit with flooring installers, general contractors, and other customers to close sales and build relationships. You will be responsible for building your own customer base and maintaining and servicing those customers. Experience in flooring a big plus and highly desired; especially in hardwood flooring. Responsibilities include:? Develop new customers and negotiate prices, terms of sales, prepare contracts, submit orders, determine delivery date, and schedule deliveries with office manager.? Work with the General Manager to determine availability of flooring in warehouse or availability of wood from our mills and determine dates for delivery.? Make sure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner with accuracy and efficiency and that quality of flooring meets company expectations as well as customer expectations? Do measurements at times to assist customers in ordering correctly and advise customers on best products for their business? Continually networking and cold calling and visiting customer sites to generate new business? Develop and implement sales strategy to drive sales and monitor competition to maintain best practices and be competitive in marketplace.? National Wood Flooring Association NWFA familiarity or experience a plus but not required Requirements:? Excellent sales and organizational skills? High attention to detail? Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers? Excellent verbal and written communication skills? Able to pass a background check and drug test
