What You Will Be Doing This is an opportunity to work on the Simulation and Systems Test (SST) Systems Engineeringteam. SST is a highly innovative teamresponsible for developing, testing andmaintaining aircraft simulation systems andsubsystems utilized for aircraft capabilityintegration and weapons systems developmentfrom concept design through production anddelivery. This position is for a Systems Engineering Leadto work on multiple Air Combat Simulatorprojects. The primary responsibility of thisposition is to support system/subsystemhardware, requirements, and System leveltesting. The SE lead will utilize standardengineering practices to generate requirementsfor complex hardware and software systems.This position requires interaction, planning andcoordination with multiple systems engineering,software development, aircraft engineering anddata engineering/maintenance teams. Many ofthe modeling and simulation requirements derivefrom the need to integrate components thathave not been previously used together. Thisoften requires thinking outside the box for asolution. You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
