Awesome summer gig selling cheese at local farmers' markets! Pay is a minimum of $17+ per hour. The farmers' market season runs from now through October 31st. Looking for people who enjoy working independently, talking with people, love great cheese, and are very dependable (we have to be there every week). A typical day involves going to our shop (Green Bay), loading the van with cheese and market supplies, driving to the market, selling cheese at your market, driving back to the shop, and unloading. A typical day is about 8 hours long, depending on market duration and drive time. Some heavy lifting is involved. (Cheese is heavy!) Saturday positions are needed, but there are a few weekday shifts available too. If you're interested, tell us a little about your background and interests. The farmers' market community is filled with really inspiring, great folks, so if you're one of those, we'd love to hear from you. It's a fun, fast-paced side hustle and great for someone looking for something outdoors on the weekends. Responsibilities:• Load cheese & gear in the vehicle• Maintain and record temps of product• Keep knives and cutting boards clean using a wash station• Cut cheese for the townsfolk• Take money/ give change• Unload back at the shop• Count down the cash box Qualifications:• Sales experience would be great but not necessary• Gotta love cheese!• Must have a valid driver's license• Ability to lift +35 lbs is a must• Must be dependable and available. We have to be there every Saturday • Having own vehicle is a plus but not necessary Compensation: $17 hourly min About Company: Kickaas Cheese is a very small, independent cheese company located in Green Bay. Cheesemaker Dan Posselt rents time at different factories to make small batch cheese and sell exclusively at farmers' markets. Our cave or aging facility is based in Green Bay.
