Insurance Risk Management Specialist

The Insurance Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the insurance placement and administration for our residential and commercial portfolio of properties. This position will be based at our Norcross, GA office. Responsibilities: Identify trends and recommend solutions by implementing risk reduction/ transfer methodologies. Maintain continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders to reduce Premises Liability exposure. Maintain a strong relationship with insurance brokerage partners to ensure the efficiency of insurance program administration functions, policy issuance, invoicing, and certificate of insurance requests. Ensure risk management tools and systems are in place to manage information required for efficient day-to-day operations, analytics, workflow and stakeholder communication. Negotiate favorable terms, coverage, and premiums for insurance policies. Forecast premium cost budgeting. Oversee the claims management process working with project managers and insurance providers to facilitate efficient claims resolution. Manage residential and commercial tenant compliance with insurance requirements of their lease agreement. Ensure lender insurance coverage requirements are satisfied. Manage property, liability, Captive, BR, D&O EPLI, E&O, WC and automobile policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Risk management, insurance, business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years insurance experience either in a corporate insurance environment, insurance brokerage firm, insurance company or property management firm. Property & Casualty License is required. Ability to extract commercial and multi-family lease insurance requirements. Knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance policy types, certificates, forms and terminology.
