Lead Requirements Analyst

Savantage Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Requirements Analyst to join our esteemed product or customer development team. As part of this role, the Requirements Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the gathering, refining, and collection of client business requirements for software changes. Additionally, the RA will be tasked with creating and delivering high-quality project artifacts, such as system requirements documents, test plans, and test scripts, all while adhering to the project schedule. Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, among others: Analyze client business requirements and translate business requirements into design solutions across different projects. Facilitate and participate in customer and stakeholder meetings. Document discussions in project meeting minutes. Collaborate with the technical (i.e., software developers) and quality assurance teams to ensure that requirements are clear, understood, actionable, and testable. Provide clarifications and revisions to requirements as needed throughout the release cycle. Ensure baseline documentation is updated after each release including requirements traceability matrix (RTM). Collaborate with developers to perform high-level functional testing of the solution. Work within the system development life cycle (SDLC) guidelines to ensure all documentation adheres to required guidance. Perform peer review of team members’ work products. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities The ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in an accounting or information technology field. Minimum of 5 years as a business analyst or systems analyst Team Lead working with Federal financial reporting and accounting systems. Demonstrated experience in systems and/or data analysis and the SDLC. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload and maintain schedules and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project is a plus, Experience with Solutions Business Manager (SBM), Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, etc., is a plus. Experience with Federal Financial and Accounting Systems, such as EBS, SAP, Momentum, Altimate™, is a plus. Education and Certifications Must be a US Citizen. Bachelor’s degree in business or related IT field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
