National Coatings & Supplies is looking for a new Assistant Store Manager to join our team!Assistant Store Manager Duties: * Assist with hiring, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, communicating with, leading and disciplining all employees in store * Ensure planning, direction, and scheduling of employee work in order to optimize labor utilization and align with workflow and profitability * Maintain inventory control and direct the taking of inventory in order to optimize cash flow for the organization * Enforce and follow all rules, policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with State and Federal Laws, DOT and OSHA Regulations * Monitor customer pricing for strict control of gross-profit margins * Perform administrative duties as necessary * Maintain relationships with key customers * Other duties assignedAssistant Store Manager Qualifications: * Minimum of a HS diploma/GED * Familiar with and competent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word) * Team player with exceptional customer service skills * 1-2 years of previous supervisory and/or management experience * 1-3 years of experience in similar type of business preferred * Ability to simultaneously manage multiple stats in a face paced environment * Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills * Must maintain a clean driving record * Strong work ethic * Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and follow-throughWhat's in it for You? * Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits * 401k Retirement Savings Plan * Life & Disability Insurance * Direct Deposit & biweekly payroll * No Nights or Holidays! * Collaborative environment where your input is valued dailyAbout US: National Coatings & Supplies recently merged with Single Source Inc to become the 2nd largest distributor of automotive and industrial coatings nationwide.
