Sr. JD Edwards Functional Homebuilder Consultant Description As a top-performing Sr. JD Edwards Functional Homebuilder Consultant at KS2 Technologies, INC., you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs. The Homebuilder consultant must be able to listen and understand client concerns and then must operate efficiently to design and document viable solution options, communicate to the client the options with our recommendation, and to implement (i.e., configure, train, coordinate user acceptance testing) and support the agreed upon solution. The Sr. JD Edwards Functional Homebuilder Consultant will report to the Software Product Manager and will collaborate closely with people from every part of the organization. What You'll Do: Homebuilder Functional Responsibilities Project SME (Subject Matter Expert) Document current business process Create and modify test scripts. Test configurations and provide support to business for testing and sign-off. Lead functional support during 'go live'. Client support, including level 3 issues. Design Lead Industry Credentials Training and Mentoring Root Cause Analysis Homebuilder Consultant Duties Our Sr. Functional Homebuilder consultant must be an effective listener and communicator. He or she will interact with our clients at various organizational levels, from C-Level executives to the hands-on day to day users. This person supports implementations, upgrades and managed services clients. Additionally, he or she will: Leverage business acumen and JD Edwards knowledge to create process improvement opportunities. Build relationships with clients for lasting partnerships. Mentor and train other KS2 consultants. Be able to learn independently and to be trained by other KS2 consultants. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree Five plus years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x Homebuilder experience Experience with JD Edwards World software is a plus. Ability to work with clients and managers to interpret and document business requirements. Ability to produce functional and technical designs for systems, interfaces, and business applications. Experience in Business Process Optimization. Ability to develop estimates and project plans for configuring homebuilder and real estate management projects. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills. Strong client focus. Must work well with clients of varying levels of technical expertise in high-pressure situations and complex environments. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be proactive and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work on cross-functional teams. Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate to various levels of management. Ability to travel 20% Education A four-year college degree or 4-6 years of direct experience and certifications.
