Position Summary: Identify opportunities in your assigned territory to generate new business, reactivate dormant accounts, and grow existing dealer, contractor, and architect base to achieve quarterly sales objectives. Guide the consumer journey from start to finish through outstanding customer service and product knowledge. Position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager. Inside Sales Mission Statement: Develop and prepare each rep for an advanced role within The AZEK Company through continual education and driving sell-through growth with our dealer and contractor base. Role Requirements: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of Sales Experience and/or Customer Service Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills A great teammate who displays a positive attitude daily A competitor that is hungry for a career in sales What you'll do: Qualify and convert contractors and builders to specify TimberTech and AZEK on current and future projects in your assigned territory Identify dealer opportunities in your territory to generate new business, reactivate dormant accounts, and grow existing lumberyard base Quality > Quantity; ~40 outbound calls a day Host virtual presentations to train channel partners on TimberTech & AZEK product portfolio Communicate daily with local Area Sales Managers and Regional Sales Manager in your territory to provide support as needed Quarterly travel in North America with current Area Sales Managers in assigned territories Engage customers and present products at industry events and shows (PGA Tour 3M Open, AZEKUniversity, Deck Expos and more) Position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manger Success Measures: Ninety (90) days:o Complete on-boarding plano Complete cumulative training hourso Complete cumulative shadow hours with Inside Sales Rep(s)o Complete Role Play hours with Senior Inside Sales Rep(s) Six (6) months:o Execute regular calls with Sales Teamso Execute outbound calls to Consumers & Channel Partnerso Execute Product Knowledge (PK) trainingso All activities listed above have monthly, quarterly and annual goalso Participate in the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) One (1) year:o All items listed aboveo Commercial Lead Engagemento Participate in new rep hiring and onboardingo Become a Mentor to new Inside Sales Repso Eligibility toward promotion to Senior Inside Sales Rep What you'll enjoy: Voted one of Chicago Tribune's Top Workplaces in 2021, 2022 & 2023 Detailed step-by-step progression plan towards promotion; 0-3 months, 3-12 months, 12 months+ Competitive base pay Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) that includes quarterly bonus payouts 401K Retirement Match Employee Stock Program (NYSE: AZEK) Employee Product Purchase Plan Hybrid work (In-Person & Remote) Free gym membership at West Loop office Catered lunch Tuesday through Thursday Bi-monthly team events (Happy Hours, Bulls games, Cubs & Sox games, boat trips, and more) Quarterly team volunteering in the community (Feed My Starving Children, Frieda's Pantry, and more Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 in our lowest market up to $55,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.
