Job ID: 24-01487 Software Developer JourneymanSpringfield, VA MUST: Must have an Active TS/SCIExperienced Journeyman Software Developer2+ years experience Experience with network routing, and application load balancersExperience with authentication methods such as TLS, JWT, SAML, SSO, and OpenIDMust have a Bachelors degree, experience will be considered in lieu of a degree; Associates degree plus 4 years experience, or a minimum of 6 years of experience, in a related fieldExperience in Amazon Web Services Platforms and Technologies (AWS) is preferredWilling to train for Kong API management gateway is preferredDemonstrated experience building configurations in YAML, specifically for Kong Enterprise is a plusDemonstrated experience in Lua is desiredDemonstrated experience in Java and/or Python is a plusExperience with Container and Orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is preferredExperience in CI/CD Process (GitLab) is a plusExperience in working on Linux systems (RHEL) is desiredElasticSearch experience is a plusAWS Serverless, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3 is preferredNGA Imagery and Data Repositories is a plusExperience with Terraform is preferred DUTIES: Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.Write well designed, testable, efficient code.Ensure designs follow specifications.Recommend changes to improve established application processes.Prepare and produce releases of software components.Develop application code programs.
