Job Summary: Provides second-tier support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify problems. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Has knowledge of multiple aspects of system and network architectures, operating environments, and technologies such as network integration, network interoperability, network implementation, network protocols and telecommunications. Primary Duties: Provides second-tier support to end users for either PCs or hardware. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify problems. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Information Technology Equipment Custodian - conduct annual inventory of accountable equipment. Out processing equipment accounts. Secondary Duties: Provides support for VTC meetings. Requirements: Requires an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college/university. 2+ years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including experience in technically related areas. ADPE, Inventory, Equipment Custodian experience is a plus. MUST currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is Mandatory.
