We are seeking a skilled and experienced Korean Cuisine Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food production process, managing shifts, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. If you have a passion for the culinary arts and possess strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Plan and execute menu items in accordance with customer preferences and dietary restrictions - Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers - Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials - Train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques - Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen area - Manage food costs by minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes - Maintain a positive and professional working environment Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team - Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Proficient in menu planning and recipe development - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of inventory control procedures - Familiarity with catering operations is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
