The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex, high-stakes litigation within an AMLAW 200 firm. Additionally, they will work closely with Healthcare Litigation Practice Group attorneys, focusing on professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability cases.Duties:Gain hands-on experience in litigation, including depositions and client contact.Work on complex, high-stakes litigation cases.Collaborate with attorneys at all levels within the Healthcare Litigation Practice Group.Conduct research and draft legal documents.Assist with case management and trial preparation.Requirements:Excellent academic credentials.Strong research and writing skills.Previous professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability experience preferred.Admitted to practice in California.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Litigation experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.
