JOB SUMMARYThe Coordinator plays a critical role on the Marketing Strategy Team, providing support in executing initiatives that support the broader short and long-term marketing strategy for Denny's. Under direction of the Marketing Manager, Brand & Menu Strategy, the Coordinator collaborates with Marketing Strategy, Traffic & Sales Growth, Product Development, Consumer Insights, Agency Partners, Field Marketing, Procurement, IT, Operations, Merchandising and Finance to ensure marketing initiatives are planned thoroughly, communicated effectively, and implemented efficiently. The Coordinator is also responsible for assisting in key testing efforts in collaboration with internal cross-functional team members and partners in the field. The Coordinator ensures that all tests are planned, trained, communicated and supported efficiently.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities) * Coordinates the implementation of all assigned projects with key business partners across the organization, working closely with all functional areas to ensure product tests and national product launches are executed successfully. * Manages Denny's dine-in, delivery and carryout menu insights, evaluation, competitive research, new product development, communications, and testing. * Supports menu requests, testing and rollouts as needed. * Creates merchandising and manages the program for optional and regional menu items in restaurants. * Assists team in writing communications to the Field that provide necessary updates regarding key marketing programs. * Oversees the invoicing and billing for all assigned projects. * Assists with the planning, development, execution and analysis of all product testing in support of developing national menus. * Attends committee and other meetings, capturing notes on discussions and next steps. * Cross- functional project management support * Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT * Bachelor's degree preferred. * 1-2 years of marketing or related experience.
