Wanted: A team oriented lead line cook for our fine dining restaurant. Must have experience.The Dundee Bistro, an iconic upscale restaurant located in the heart of Oregon wine country in Dundee, OR is seeking a lead line cook to join our dynamic team as we scale up operations. $25.00 per hour guaranteed minimum rate with tips included. Our ideal candidate is curious about food and wine, self motivated, has strong culinary skills and is a team player. This is a long-term career opportunity with a company that has tremendous growth potential. Above average tip pool for all BOH employees. . Health care contribution available after 90 days with the company and other great benefits. We are open daily from 11:30 am - 8:30 pm and must be willing and able to work all shifts and various days of the week..The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Reliable transportation is a must.Responsibilities High volume line cooking experience, all stations -- grill, pizza, salad, pasta and sauces and saut s. Follow recipes/procedures to produce consistent high quality food items Break down and portion meat and fish, general line set-up Oversee other line cooks in the performance of their duties, expedite Maintain clean and organized work area Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Relieve Executive Chef and Sous Chef from line duties when necessaryQualifications Cooking on the line and BOH experience, fine dining preferred Excellent communication skills BOH team management background a plus Able to meet all scheduling commitments Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs Strong attention to detail May be required to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to work on your feet in a fast paced environment for sometimes long hoursWe are looking forward to hearing from you.
