Job Overview:The Wage and Hour Class Action Associate Attorney will fight for clients' rights against large corporations, taking significant responsibility in litigating cases while receiving mentorship from award-winning attorneys. They will draft legal documents, develop litigation strategies, and represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations. Duties:Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Develop strategies to litigate wage and hour matters in state and federal courts.Represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations.Develop persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Take significant responsibility in managing a docket of cases.Work collaboratively with a litigation team. Requirements:Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Superior analytical and legal research skills. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Legal drafting and document preparation.Litigation strategy development.Courtroom advocacy.Research and writing skills.Collaboration and teamwork.
