Insurance Billing Outsourcing is a Dental insurance outsourcing company looking for experienced Dental/Medical billing and verification individuals. Our Specialists have many years of experience and enjoy working in the Dental field. This position would be working fully remotely doing verification of Dental insurance benefits tasks; obtaining information for insurance verification forms from either fax received, directly from the insurance website or verbal breakdown from the insurance representative. Completing the appropriate form for each client (practice-specific form or IBO's form). Upload and store VOB forms in the client's PMS (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, DSN, etc.) for each patient verified. Will a ttend monthly team meetings. O ther duties may be included in job duties depending on the clients' needs such as filing insurance claims, calling insurance carriers, or utilizing the insurance portals to work insurance AR, posting insurance payments, etc. Our Account Specialists may also work on patient accounts receivable. The individual will need to be comfortable with computers and should be able to learn software easily. Our Specialist may work with multiple practice software each day. When working remotely, basic computer knowledge is required. Having experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet software is preferred. Spreadsheets are utilized in this position daily. The daily routine would be calling insurance carriers or utilizing the insurance portals to work insurance AR, filing Dental and/or Dental/Medical insurance claims, posting EOBs, completing verification of benefits forms, and scanning them into the Dental practice software remotely. We are looking for a dependable team player who is a good self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Insurance Billing Outsourcing is a company that prides itself on knowledge and excellence in service. Must have a laptop or a desktop computer, and be HIPAA compliant. Having a 2nd Monitor is a plus. Knowledge of the Dental field is required. At least three years of Dental and/or Medical verification experience preferred. Having Dental and Dental/Medical claims filing and EOB posting experience is preferred. Knowledge of EOB adjustment posting is preferred. Medical Billing and Coding Certification a plus. Knowledge of Sleep Apnea, and experience in TMJ, Oral Surgery, and hospital trauma is a plus. Also, experience with WinOMS, DSN, and Epic practice software is a plus.
