Description:
Essential Functions: Provides a GFT-based (VBS3 and DXTRA) simulation training environment utilizing government provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of course lesson plans Conducts installation, configuration, and operation of the GFT simulations and supporting databases Develops appropriate GFT scenarios Must have a good understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols Provides reporting of system/software anomalies reported to system developers for correction Provides integrated stimulation to C4I systems from GFT training environment to meet the needs of the course lesson plan Assist COE instructors in understanding how simulations will integrate into the C4I networks to provide stimulation Maintains necessary information assurance protocols on stimulation/simulation systems that includes system lockdown procedures, operating system patches, and stimulation/simulation software patches. Requirements: Active Secret Clearance (Required) US Citizen Education: BA or BS degree in Information Technology or related field Meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Computing Environment (CE) Certification at Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II) Experience: 5 years' computer experience in information systems design and management 3 years' experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems Working Conditions: inside office on Government site Job Type: Full-Time Work Week: Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements) Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements) Overtime: as required Benefits and unique perks offered, but not limited to: Dental, and Vision Insurance Healthcare Reimbursement Account (ICHRA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(K) Matching Program 11 Paid Holidays 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance CGS provides reasonable accommodation so that qualified applicants with a disability may participate in the selection process.
