Summary Objective Under close supervision, performs various manual skilled work in the care and maintenance of water lines and all other aspects pertaining to the water distribution systems and performs duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. The Water/Sewer Maintenance Mechanic Trainee - Distribution must obtain a State of Florida Class B Commercial driver's license within 6 months after the employment date or separate employment. A valid Florida Class E Driver's License is required. This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union. The City of Riviera Beach is an equal employment opportunity employer. The City values the service of veterans to our country, and veterans' preference will be given in accordance with Chapter 295 of the Florida Statutes for candidates that meet the minimum qualifications.
