A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN PURCHASING SPECIALIST: As a Purchasing Specialist, you work under the general supervision of the Accountant Manager. The purchasing specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating all procurement activities in compliance with The Charles Lea Center and SCDDSN. Will prepare grants for S.C Housing Trust Funds, SCDDSN, SC Dept. of Social Services and SC Dept of Transportation and is responsible for grant reporting to these agencies. Will have to organize, implement, and oversee procedures and follow through of the Finance Offices as well as other departments that reports to CFO and any other assigned duties. You find it very rewarding to help people with disabilities lead self-fulfilling lives! QUALIFICATIONS: •At least 18 years of age •Ability to pass a background check upon hire. •Valid driver's license •High School Diploma or equivalent GED with at least one (1) Year of Office Manager experience •Knowledge of SC Procurement Code (Preferred) ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
