Description:
The Senior Military Analyst will provide Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation Support to the Mission Command Battle Laboratory (MCBL), Fort Leavenworth, KS. Provide SME support of MCBL experimentation events. Essential Functions: Presentation skills, clear and precise oral communications May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation Works in conjunction with project officers to provide a final report addressing all experiment issues, develops databases that effectively archive all data captured Attend planning meetings Training and managing data collectors Proficient in the use of MS Office products Requirements: United States citizen Active Secret Clearance Education: MA/MS degree from an accredited university Graduate form Command and General Staff College (MEL 4) or equivalent service command/general staff college Graduate form the Army War College or National Defense University is desired Experience: 10 years' experienced military operator with field-grade level knowledge Service at echelons above brigade Knowledge of Army/Joint Capability Development Must have demonstrated planning experience for complex activities equivalent to that of an annual experimentation program or experiment series that are comprised of multiple events Previous service within joint and/or combined organizations is desirable Experience as a division/corps/theater army/joint headquarters planner, strategist, or member of a Commanders Initiative Group (CIG) is desired Experience with the full scope of work i.e. studies, experimentation, and prototyping Demonstrated experience as a task leader or program manager of teams of contractors in support of Army or joint requirements is desired Working Conditions: inside office on Government site Required Travel: Some travel required Job Type: Full-Time Work Week: Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements) Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements) Overtime: as required Contract Length: More than 1 year Benefits and unique perks offered, but not limited to: Medical Reimbursement if not eligible for TRICARE Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) Matching Program 11 Paid Federal Holidays 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance CGS provides reasonable accommodation so that qualified applicants with a disability may participate in the selection process.
