The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Pennsylvania family law, be proficient in trial advocacy, and demonstrate a commitment to advocating for clients' best interests. Duties:Represent clients in matrimonial cases, including divorce, child custody, support, and other related matters.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare cases for mediation, court hearings, and trials.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and options under Pennsylvania family law.Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court to ensure cases progress smoothly.Negotiate settlements when possible and advocate zealously for clients in contested matters. Requirements:Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with no pending disciplinary actions.2-3 years of experience practicing family law, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years.Availability to attend mediations, court hearings, and trials as required.Basic proficiency in computer use and eagerness to learn new software systems, including Clio.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar. Skills:Comprehensive knowledge of Pennsylvania family law statutes and procedures.Trial advocacy skills, including courtroom presence and persuasive argumentation.Legal research and writing abilities.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
