Technical Project Managers work closely with project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and function as a central point of contact for all project-related information. Responsibilities Coordinate internal resources for the execution of projects; ensure resource availability and allocation Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Proactively manage project issues and risks, and escalate to management as needed Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 4-6+ years of proven project management experience working with customers to deliver technology solutions, ideally within a consulting environment Required Skills Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Microsoft Project Active PMP certification Preferred Technology Skills Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, portal, and content management technologies
