We are looking for a Occupational Therapist who provides great energy, makes welcoming people a top priority, and is looking to grow with the company's long-term vision. Attain offers services in state of art senior housing communities. We offer flex scheduling, 1:1 care averaging 1 patient an hour with a strong emphasis on patient care not provider productivity. Attain was founded and is managed by physical therapists who firmly believe in Elevating Care & Empowering Lives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Consults with medical, ancillary professionals and other team members/supervisors to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations. Provide treatment to patients in assisted living facilities focusing mainly on manual therapy. Maintains and completes evaluations, patient records, reports, and all written documentation effectively and in a timely manner, in accordance with regulatory and department guidelines. Effectively communicates with patient and/or family/significant other in providing patient updates. Ability to address staff and patients in a courteous and friendly manner as well as accept constructive criticism. Must be willing to communicate with patients of various levels of functioning and various types of personalities. Willingness to communicate perceived physical and emotional needs of patients to other skilled staff to assist with addressing their care needs. Adheres to Attains policies and procedures.
