Volt is immediately hiring a Benefits Specialist in Orlando, FL As a Benefits Specialist, you will: * Person will be doing Verification of Benefits in the Appeals process for prior authorization / denials / exceptions, etc. * Lots of paperwork and phone calls. * Utilizes a database to retrieve customer or company information. * Contacts insurance companies to verify insurance benefits; initiates pre-authorization requests for new and ongoing services with insurance companies and performs follow up activities for an outcome.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Person MUST come with 1 year of experience and knowledge in Veteran Affairs, Worker Compensation, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, PPO and Prior Authorization Appeals. * Understanding of Medicare rules and regulationsSchedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMThis is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.Pay Rate: $16- $17.80 per hour.*The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
