MLT/MT requirements Associate or Bachelor Degree in applied science for medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or related science with a year of clinical training in an accredited school of medical technology. Must be registered by a nationally recognized certification agency or registry eligible. Active certification preferred. MLT/MT Job Summary Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
