DescriptionCragun's Resort on Gull Lake has an incredible opportunity to join our Food and Beverage Team in a Leadership Role! The Resort DR and Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing high quality dining experiences in a number of our outlets: Irma's Kitchen, Bear Trap Bar and the Cabana Cafe. A successful candidate in this position is customer service oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic about creating and excellent food service environment.* Ensures smooth and timely opening or Irma's Kitchen, Bear Trap Bar, and Cabana Cafe* Assigns FOH staff to designated sections and all other staff to appropriate side work* Assists service staff during mealtime as needed* Working the floor during service hours and coaching team members as needed* Assist Food and Beverage Manager in training staff* Assists in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guideline for service staff* Assists in ensuring an adequate number of service employees for each shift and ensures absences are covered* Knows the descriptions of all menu items* Assists the Food and Beverage Manager in hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating staff* Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices* Immediately reports unsafe incidents or unsafe working conditions when they occur* Handles guest and customer concerns professionally and in a timely fashion* Perform other related duties as required and assignedRequirements* Previous restaurant experience, showing a progressive advancement in responsibilities* Strong leadership and motivational skills* Requires the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner* Must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic* Must be able to deal with the public tactfully and diplomatically* Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics* Must have a high regard for customer service and employee relations* Always maintain a professional image* Ability to work a flexible schedule* Ability to work independently* Must be at least 21 years of ageFull Time Benefits * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and Supplemental Life Insurances * PTO Package * MN Sick and Safe Leave * IHG Rewards Discounts * 401k with Company Match * Employer Sponsored HSA Program * Incredible Resort and Golf Course Discounts!Join our growing team!
