Northrop Grumman Payload & Ground Systems in Azusa, CA is seeking a 2nd shift custodial service attendant to join our teamThis role is supported by our bargaining unit union organizationSUMMARY: Maintain labs, clean rooms and premises in clean and orderly condition in accordance with company contract and industry standardsWORK PERFORMED: Working at appropriate skill and certification level, wears attire designated to various classes of clean rooms utilizing specialized tools, solutions and wipes Includes work on ladders, scaffolds, cleaning parts, using tanks and solution, cleaning the cleaning equipment, etcWorks in areas where attention is requited to chemicals, electronic equipment, laser and environmental requirementsVarious housecleaning operations such as sweeping, mopping and removing refuse from offices and rest rooms, cleans windows and dusts as necessary, disinfects, scrubs rest rooms and showers replenishes rest room sanitation items and other related supplies May be required to use a ladder, operate forklift and other vehiclesPerforms incidental work as required, in completion of assigned tasks Must be able to follow exacting written and verbal instructionsProvides documentation and proper recording of Maintenance Department records including preventive maintenanceObserves company, OSHA and Safety regulationsQUALIFICATIONS: High School or equivalentNormally one (1) year experience in janitorial cleaningRequires the ability to perform physical work commensurate with above job descriptionMust possess a valid driver's license that meets the California Vehicle CodeMust be computer literate to the extent required to perform job functions and proper recording and documentation of maintenance recordsMust be able to obtain necessary ESD training and clean room training certification as required to perform assigned tasksMust be able to perform all essential job functions and environmental/physical considerations per Employee RequisitionThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting dateHowever, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidatesNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforceWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected classFor our complete EEO/AA and Pay Transparency statement, please visit http://www.northropgrumman.com/EEO U.SCitizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
