Job Title:Risk Appetite Program ManagerLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:The Risk Appetite (RA) Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating the quarterly RA Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting process and on-going maintenance of the firm's RA Statement (RAS), KRIs, thresholds, and Procedures. The role will work cross functionally with other 2nd and 1st Line of Defense areas for the quarterly KRI reporting process as well as annual RAS and KRI refresh activities.The Strategic & Reputational Risk team is part of the Bank's wider Risk Management department and a rapidly growing team focused on providing expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities throughout the Bank. The Risk Management department plays a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk.Reporting to the Risk Appetite Associate Director, the ideal candidate will be driven to build and scale, ready to challenge the status quo, able to comprehensively synthesize and communicate information, as well as driven to continuously improve.What we are looking for: Responsibilities Lead coordination of quarterly RA KRI reporting, ensuring timely submission of reporting data and provision of adequate KRI breach commentary. Credibly challenge management action plans when KRIs breach thresholds. Lead annual and ongoing enhancements of the RA Framework, including policy, procedures, and training. Challenge the status quo in these areas to deliver industry best practices. Lead annual working sessions in partnership with the 2nd Line of Defense and metric owners to assess business strategy, objectives, and risks to develop the RAS, supporting KRIs and thresholds. Identify and execute enhancements to the firm's RA Framework, including by establishing linkages between risk appetite, the firm's strategic planning, capital planning and risk identification processes. Design data visualization reports to effectively communicate RA levels and KRI performance to senior management and the board. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field 6 years of direct or related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Public Accounting, or Management Consulting Knowledge of general banking operations and governance practices, industry trends, competitive landscape, and corporate strategy Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices Experience with enterprise-wide change management principles and/or complex initiatives Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to interact with all levels of an organization, especially senior management Ability to drive multiple agendas simultaneously to achieve continuous outcomes Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $135,233.00 - $167,053.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
