Job Overview:The Transactional/Investment Team Associate Attorney will represent lenders in lending transactions, alternative investment vehicles in debt and equity investments, and private equity fund investors in control and growth equity investments. They will work across the capital structure, representing both equity and debt investors, as well as portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities. Strong academic performance and interpersonal skills are required for success in this role. Duties:Represent lenders in lending transactionsAdvise alternative investment vehicles on debt and equity investmentsCounsel private equity fund investors on control and growth equity investmentsWork across the capital structure, representing equity and debt investorsAssist portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activitiesConduct legal research and draft legal documents Requirements:2-6 years of transactional experienceExperience in finance or corporate transactions preferredExcellent academic performanceStrong interpersonal skillsAdmission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction Skills:Proficiency in transactional lawAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent written and oral communication skills Benefits:Competitive compensation packageFull benefits package Join one of the fastest growing law firms in the Southeast.
