One of our best clients is currently seeking a quality assurance supervisor. They are a leading meat processing company committed to delivering high-quality products. Their state-of-the-art facilities ensure food safety and excellence in what they produce.Position Summary:As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our product quality standards. You'll oversee quality control processes, collaborate with production teams, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Responsibilities:Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production process.Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials. Perform sensory evaluations and laboratory tests.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality checks, deviations, and corrective actions.Training: Train production staff on quality protocols, hygiene practices, and safety measures.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP guidelines, and company policies.Supplier Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to maintain consistent quality standards for incoming materials.Team Leadership: Lead a team of quality technicians and inspectors.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or related field or relevant experience.Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within the meat industry.Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMPs).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
