At the Coats Company, we are seeking a .NET Programmer to join our team. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote work and onsite presence at our Lavergne, TN Manufacturing site. As a .NET Programmer, you'll report directly to our IT Director while designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive our operations forward. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Familiarity with manufacturing environments. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and designers to conceptualize and development new software programs and applications. Prepare and document program requirements and specifications. Research and document user requirements. Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to IT Standards. Monitor software performance, debut errors, and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain end-user documentation and guidelines. Install software products for end users as required. Research and stay informed on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades. Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, with 5 years of equivalent work experience. Experienced in C#, Visual Studio .NET AND ASP.NET. Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including HTTP, XML, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, JSON and SSL. Experienced with MS SQL Server (2005 and up) and ERP systems implementation.. Hands-on software troubleshooting experience. Flexible and adaptable to learning new technologies. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. PREFERRED SKILLS : Experience with DB2 database and operating systems.
