We are looking for a savvy, seasoned, and skilled corporate attorney to provide general legal counsel to our high-growth oriented company. You will provide advice in all aspects of business transactions, conduct thorough legal research, and draft legal documents and deals that align with our business goals and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate will have several years of experience as in-house counsel or staff attorney for a corporate law firm, an in-depth knowledge of transactions and multiple areas of law, and superior negotiation and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Provide legal counsel during legal proceedings, administrative board reviews, and litigations when necessary• Direct the efforts of paralegals, support staff, and outside lawyers hired to assist in case resolution• Guide clients towards best practices in corporate law regulation compliance by providing legal advice on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, employment, operations, and regulatory issues• Develop strategies for risk-mitigation and shield clients from legal risks and regulatory violations in all business transactions• Execute, negotiate, create, and modify deals on the clients’ behalf Qualifications: • Strong transactional knowledge and understanding of corporate law, securities law, and tax law is needed• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are vital• Be a member in good standing of the state bar association and possess a license to practice law• Four-year bachelor's degree, along with a three-year law degree from an accredited law school• Able to use MS Office and Google Suite - computer proficient Compensation: $150,000 potential About Company: KEW Legal is a law firm servicing entrepreneurs and investors as their legal and consulting department.
