Start working the way you've imaginedVolt is immediately hiring for CNC Mill Operators in Lake Forest, Ca As a CNC Mill Operator you will: * Operate Milling machines * Safely and skillfully operates a cold milling machine following all standard equipment procedures. * Responsible for proper usage of grade control devices, micrometers, comparators, and calipers to check parts. * Maintains equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance and repair tasks such as adjusting, fluid checks, replacing minor parts and lubricating equipment. * Responsible for daily checks of the milling drum, conveyors and water supply systems. * Responsible for daily inspection and replacement of milling teeth on the milling drum to assure proper cutting patterns on pavement surfaces. * Must maintain an acute sense of awareness to the surrounding footprint of the machine (watch for obstructions while operating the equipment, such as ground utilities, curb and gutters). * Maintain constant visual contact with co-workers on the ground and trucks in front of the machine. * Must perform general laborer duties as assigned.This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: * 1-2 years of experience operating MFG machines (CNC is a plus) * Experience loading and unloading parts * Medical device experience is a plus but not mandatory * Experience using Comparators, Micrometers, and calipers to check parts * Attention to detail is mandatory * Horizontal, Vertical Mill, Conventional Sinker * Good math skills a mustSchedule: 1st shiftPay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
