The ideal candidate will work on a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, finance, joint ventures, and development. Strong academic credentials and admission to the California Bar are required. Duties:Handle a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, finance, joint ventures, and development.Draft and review real estate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Conduct due diligence and title review.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.Assist with negotiation and closing of transactions.Manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines. Requirements:2-3 years of transactional real estate experience.Strong academic credentials.Admission to the California Bar. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar. Skills:Transactional real estate experience.Drafting and reviewing real estate contracts and agreements.Due diligence and title review.Legal research and analysis.Communication and negotiation skills.Time management and organization skills. The small San Francisco office of this vigorous firm specializes in real estate law, environmental law, and civil litigation. The firm boasts an extremely dynamic group of attorneys; the firms partnership is both young (most are in their 30s and 40s) and talented. Associates are treated very well, and people are generally quite happy working here. Retention is incredibly high; in fact, approximately two-thirds of the associates who joined the firm in the last five years are still at the firm. Despite the firms size, salaries are only slightly below market.
