Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscaping techniques and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.Duties:- Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees- Prune and trim trees and hedges to ensure healthy growth- Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed- Remove debris and litter from outdoor areas- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge clippers- Monitor and report any issues or concerns regarding plant health or landscape conditions- Assist with the installation of new landscaping features or improvements- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and storage areasSkills:- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in groundskeeping- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques- Familiarity with lawn care practices, including mowing, fertilizing, and watering- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently- Basic understanding of plant care and horticulture principles- Strong attention to detail to ensure a well-maintained appearance- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditionsJoin our team as a Groundskeeper and contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our organization.
