Job Overview:Provide legal representation to clients in litigation matters, contributing to case strategy and execution.Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to manage caseload and achieve favorable outcomes.Engage in legal research, document drafting, and courtroom appearances. Duties:Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.Assist in negotiation and settlement discussions.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategy and management. Requirements:Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Virginia.2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial litigation.Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia. Skills:Litigation experience in state and federal courts.Legal research and writing proficiency.Communication and negotiation skills.Case management abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
